The Team

The team behind The Memory Tree have decades of broadcast filmmaking experience.

They’ve made commercials, music videos, factual entertainment, documentaries, drama documentaries and feature films for the BBC, ITV, Channel 5, C4, Discovery, National Geographic, History, SyFy, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Their well-honed skills include the ability to coax telling anecdotes, key facts and humour from their interviewees. Their keen sense of narrative allows them to fuse the material they gather into compelling stories with a powerful emotional impact.

Dan Crouch

Dan Crouch graduated in Film at Central St Martins College of Art in London. Since then he has worked as an editor on Films, TV dramas, drama docs and documentaries for BBC, ITV, Discovery, Netflix, Channel 4.

Matt Ramsden

Matt worked as a Producer Director at the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, Sky and MTV. At the BBC he specialised in making short films about powerful personal stories. He has interviewed the King, former Prime Ministers and countless veterans.
